Azalea Dress

Size: Newborn
Hook: G-6
Yarn: TLC Baby
Guage: 4 Stitches per inch, 2 rows per inch
Chain 36

Row 1:
dc in 4th ch from hook and next 3 chs,
3 dc in next ch,
dc in next 5 chs,
3 dc in next ch,
dc in next 10 chs,
3 dc in next ch,
dc in next 5 chs,
3 dc in next ch,
dc in last 5 chs.
ch 2, turn.

rows 2-5: dc in each dc across putting 3dc in center dc of 3dc group below. Ch 2, turn.

row 6: dc across to center of first 3dc group, ch 6, skip across to next 3dc, dc in center st
 and each st across to center st of 3rd dc group, ch 6, skip to last 3dc put dc in center of
3dc group and across to end. ch 2, turn. *Armhole construction tutorial*
row 7: DC in each stitch and chain across. Join.
The skirt is worked in the round.
row 8:  chain 2,dc,chain 2, 2dc in joining stitch.  *Skip 1 st, work (2dc, ch 2, 2dc) in next st* 
work from * to * around. Join top of ch 2.
row 9-19: slip stitch in next dc, slip stitch to chain 1 space. In chain 1 space: ch 2, dc, ch 1, 2dc.
Work (2dc, ch 1, 2dc) in each chain 1 space around.
row 20: After you join row 19, ch 1, sc in same st and each stitch around. Finish off.
You can work as many rows as you like for the skirt.

Have you heard of Joliprint? ( http://joliprint.com/ ) You can add their code to your template and a little printer will aper at the bottom of each popsting allowing you to print out a PDF of your post.

I have it in each of my blogs and it works great.

Thanks Paula, I'll give it a try. The reason the post is like that is to keep the Welcome post on the top for now. All the rest are in order.

I am making this for a baby shower gift, and only have way done and I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!! Have you converted it to bigger sizes? The new baby, Maci, has a big sister, Bailey Grace, who is 3. I know her mom would love to have a matching set for their first pictures.
