Size G hook.

Guage is not important, preemies come in all sizes.

Notes: Chain 2 does NOT count as a stitch, you will be DC'ing in the same stitch as the starting Ch 2. That will be your first stitch, when you join you will join to the first DC NOT the chain 2.

Chain 6, join to form ring.

Row 1: Ch 2, work 14 dc in ring. Join to first dc.(14 sts)

Row 2: Ch 2, work 2 dc in joining st, 1 dc in next stitch * work 2dc in next, 1 dc in next* around. Join to first dc. (21 sts).

Row 3: Ch 2, work 2 dc in joining st, 1 dc in each of next 2 sts * work 2 dc in next st, 1dc in each of next 2 sts* around. Join. (28 sts).

Row 4: Ch 2, work 2 dc in joining st, 1 dc in each of next 3 sts * work 2 dc in next st,
1dc in each of next 3 sts* around. Join. (35 sts).

Row 5: Ch 2, work 2 dc in joining st, 1 dc in each of next 4 sts * work 2 dc in next st,
1dc in each of next 4 sts* around. Join.  ( 42 sts).

Row 6: Ch 2, work 2 dc in joining st, 1 dc in each of next 5 sts * work 2 dc in next st,
1dc in each of next 5 sts* around. Join. (49 sts).

Rows 7-25: Ch 2, work 1dc in joining, dc in each st around, join. (49 sts).

Row 26: Ch 1, sc in each st around. Join. Finish off.

Matching Hat:
Chain 6, join to form ring.

Row 1: Ch 2, work 14 dc in ring. Join to first dc.(14 sts)

Row 2: Ch 2, work 2 dc in joining st, 1 dc in next stitch * work 2dc in next, 1 dc in next* around. Join to first dc. (21 sts).

Row 3: Ch 2, work 2 dc in joining st, 1 dc in each of next 2 sts * work 2 dc in next st, 1dc in each of next 2 sts* around. Join. (28 sts).

Row 4: Ch 2, work 2 dc in joining st, 1 dc in each of next 3 sts * work 2 dc in next st,

Christmas Delivery

Yesterday I brought 50 Christmas hats, 4 Christmas preemie sleep sacks and one blanket to Southside for Christmas.

Winter's Coming

Its time to get ready for our first winter delivery. It will be around mid December. We need warm items to bring the babies home in. Our focus will be Newborn Blankets, Sweater sets, Going home outfits and hats.  Please check the Guidelines for yarn types and the "What We Need" section for sizes. We also have some free patterns here and at my blog.
